This policy covers Finder LLC’s website. Finder is in development for the United States, with other countries coming soon. There are no accounts, live inventory or payments on this site.

1. What is present today

The authored site sets no cookies and includes no analytics, advertising pixels or third-party embeds. It uses local storage only for explicit appearance choices. The hosting service can receive network information needed to serve and protect the site, as described in the privacy policy.

finder-theme: stores “light” or “dark” when you choose one. Choosing “System” removes it.
finder-fonts: stores “system” only when you ask to stop Google Fonts requests. Choosing Google Fonts removes this preference.

These values stay in your browser until you change them, clear site data or the browser removes them. They contain no email or tracking identifier and are not included in the prefilled launch-interest email. If storage is blocked, the page still works, but choices may not survive navigation.

2. External fonts

The animated homepage uses local assets and system fonts. By default, supporting pages request Google Fonts stylesheets and font files. These requests expose network information such as your IP address to Google. There is no preconnect and no external script or embed. You can use the system-font control below to remove the stylesheet and prevent future requests when your browser can remember the choice.

Requests already made cannot be undone. Font choice does not delete data already received by Google. For full network control before the first page load, use browser resource-blocking controls; the site’s preference takes effect once selected.

3. Your appearance controls

Select “System” in the header to follow your device and stop remembering an explicit theme, or clear it here. System fonts stop this site’s external font loading. These controls are free and do not affect content access.

These controls require JavaScript. With JavaScript disabled, this site does not load Google Fonts or read or write its appearance storage. You can also clear this site’s data in your browser settings.

4. Why there is no tracking banner

No nonessential analytics, advertising or embed technology has been added, so this preview does not show accept/reject controls for technologies it does not use. Theme and font preferences support a requested appearance, with notice and a simple objection/reset control.

Finder’s initial market is the United States, with support for other countries coming soon. The controls above let you change the site’s appearance and stop future external font requests.

If nonessential technology is introduced later, it must be assessed and, where consent is required, blocked until agreement. Rejecting must be as easy as accepting, with a lasting withdrawal control.
